Mendocino Sundress...again.

Is anyone else getting a little deja vu?

I told you I could live in these things.

Stats (again)...
Pattern: Mendocino Sundress
Source: Heather Ross
Fabric: Shanghai Edition from Art Gallery Fabrics
Yardage: 2 1/2 yards
Made for:
Moi
Date Started and Completed: August 1, 2009 (Can crank one of these babies out in about 3 1/2 hours)
Mods: No mods this time. Just did the regular length of the pattern and shorter amount of shirred rows for that empire waistline look.

If I didn't love you so much, I'd probably hate you for being so crafty and cute.

Love this version! It makes me want to sew, but then I remember I can barely cut a straight line :-)

I've always liked sun dresses. Not to wear for myself... but on girls. It's kind of like a Scottish kilt or something. I'm always, like, "Hmmmm. I wonder if she's wearing biker shorts under that thing."

So pretty! The bolero really compliments the dress too.

All your projects are so cute- I have been wanting to sew myself a skirt all summer and now I think I just have to follow your example and do it. Also I love Mad Men as well- but just discovered it. I hope you are well! It has been forever since we ran into each other.
