Little Things: The New Penguin Classics

Oh, how I love these books. The designs by Coralie Bickford-Smith are impeccable. I just love having a very stylish set of cloth-bound classics. Originally they were only available in the UK, but they have slowly made their way stateside. If you're interested, there is...

Those are so pretty sitting on the shelf! I actually recently read Treasure Island and Alice in Wonderland, both I could read again!

I don't mean to sound critical by any means ~but how many copies of Jane Austen do you have now?

Awesome! It doesn't get much better than cloth covered books. Tell me Kara, how is it that we have never met?

These books are great! I love them...I saw a few of the titles at Anthropologie and put them on my list of must buys. I was lucky about a year ago to stubme acorss some boxes of cloth bound books that they were giving away (say what!?). My mom and I lugged the boxes home. I haven't heard of most of the books that were in the box, but they sure look pretty!

My jaw dropped when I saw this, since I am currently obsessed with these! I have the Pride and Prejudice copy but want to add a few more.

There is also a version of Madame Bovary and Crime and Punishment in the first set, but they are backordered according to the people at Penguin UK. :)

Oooh, they're releasing a bunch of new versions in September as well. I'm totally coveting the Shakespeare sonnet version!
