The lacey begining

The lacey beginning

Knitting lace takes like forever, y'all. But I'm determined to keep at it. This is a cashmere lace scarf we're talking about here. You just don't give up on something that fabulous. But don't be surprised if it takes me a year to knit.

Much thanks to Jeff who gave me this yarn and pattern a couple of Christmases ago. I think our friendship was sealed forever when he gifted me cashmere.

It's beautiful! I bet it's super cozy, too.

It looks like something I tried to crochet, and failed at. I frogged it.

(Yours looks like mine was supposed to, I mean. Not like my failed attempt.)

I'm with you! I'm knitting my mom's Christmas present still :-) It's the Voyager Lace stole...well the scarf version.

Beautiful pattern and I'm sure that cashmere must feel great to work with. You're inspiring me to pick up a lace project I've had on the needles for almost a year.

Love it. It looks very complex. But I think it will look perfect. Even though I don't think you even have a scar to hide.
