There's something familiar here...

Picked up some new nail polish yesterday. I'm not usually a paint my own nails kind of girl, but for some reason Ocean Love Potion really spoke to me.

New nail polish

Huh. I wonder why this color pulled me in so. If only I could put my finger on it...

Nail polish looks familiar

Oh.

Well, I guess that should be no surprise. Betty is a total trendsetter.

I've recently rediscovered the allure of the painted nail myself. I'm completely obsessed with Essie brand nail polish. I love that there are so many different shades of each color so you can find the right tone for your skin.

Love it! I almost have that exact same polish color. So pretty.

Looks like it matches your wall color too. Very pretty.

That is some lovely nail polish. I love the colour.

Oddly enough, I own an old Olivetti typewriter called Betty and she is the same colour too!

Stunning! At first I was thinking your polish reminded me of adelaide in hunter green. I have a gift certificate for a mani/pedi...maybe I will get a color to honor Betty too! However my turquoise electra or Trek might get jealous. Gotta rethink this plan.

Ah ah! Great explanation! Guess what? I started reading your post and put some nail polish on my nails too, which I very rarely do!!!

Cute : )
I only paint my toe nails, and tend to stick to this dusty mauve shade I really like. Maybe it means that I need a bike in that colour!

Love! I painted mine last night, too. Mine are sort of a mauve/purple-gray color. It's so fun to be girly once in a while.

Love the polish....the bunting - so much fun!!
Guess what? I named my bike, now, she's not as pretty as your girls but she's really happy with her new name - Bonnie.!! What's she's lacking is a basket, do you know where I can find a basket that is dog friendly? Something that I can put Annie inside safely for a spin around the neighborhood? I do wish you lived closer, I have a serious shortage of bike riding buddies - mountain bike riding is not my idea of cycling.
Have a great week, always enjoy seeing what you're up to:)

It looks great on you! I just cleaned out my nail polish drawer last night and had a few colors similar to that. Such a fun color!
PS. Hope you are doing great! I have a thyroid disease.

A girl can never be too coordinated, especially while riding her bike!

I can't blame you for liking the color. It is so pretty!

Lap Dog Knits- There are definitely a bit of dog bicycle basket options out there. I found several on Amazon. They are pretty cute too! Wicker with a cage top.

I need bicycle buddies too. It would be so fun to go for a ride. Sigh.

Thank you!! I'll check into Amazon this weekend and soon Annie will be posted showing her new mode of transportation.
I'm going to London in May - looking forward to seeing lots of fun bikes, I'm very interested in the one you share on your blog.
Very, very fun...

Love it!

I found a polish last year at Anthropologie that matched Betty spot on. Unfortunately, it's one of those peel-off polishes, so it does not stay on long. Looks like I need to check out this version!

(I just dug deep in the archives and found pictures of that polish here. Can't remember the name of it now.)
