The family that bikes together...

Yesterday, I went on a bike ride with my sister, Bri, brother-in-law, Adam, and wee Maggie. I went down to their neck of the woods to ride the Lehi section of the Jordan River Parkway.

The family that bikes together...

It took us a little while to get going, especially when coordinating with bike racks and baby trailers. But eventually we got it all down pat and were able to hit the parkway.

I cans help
I can help!

This was Maggie's first ride, and she wasn't too sure about it all.

I don't know about this...

But a bottle soon fixed that.

Ok, situation contained. Bike on

Since I mostly ride solo, biking with family was such a nice change. Here are some snaps taken from the ride.

I think the MVPs of the ride were Bri, for toting Maggie in the baby trailer, and Maggie for just being so darn cute.

Yay for Maggie

Love you guys! Looking forward to many rides to come.

I love going on rides with my adult family (parents, sister, brother-in-law). It's a great way to spend time together without just sitting around the kitchen table. Looks like you had fun!

Aww isn't she adorable! Corey and I were thinking of buying bikes when we came home from Europe but now we have a bunch of other things that need to be done first so they have been put off again. I really want one so we can go bike riding on the weekends together.

Oh my, it looks SO pretty there! With the tall... is that wheat? Or whatever tall grass that is and the mountains with snow. Absolutely beautiful.

This looks fantastically fun! I think I would have had trouble keeping my eyes on the road with that little cutie riding along (Maggie, I mean. Although I you're always darling too!)

What beautiful scenery and photos. You guys could be models for an outdoor clothing catalog like LL Bean. I especially like the bridge shots. And I too was wondering what the tall, golden "grass" was.. How nice for adorable Maggie that you have pictures of her first ride in the trailer! Hope you get many more opportunities for beautiful rides soon!

Love the artsy shot of you. It's perfect. And your bike is adorable (as are YOU). I am sure I would like riding better if my bike was cute, right? =)

This looks so fun. I love how Maggie was being a bike mechanic and how freaked out she looks in her first shot in the trailer of terror. My kids hated that thing when they were little. They love it now because it means they don't have to ride their bikes. Lazy.

You guys are so cute! I saw a bike outside of our Safeway the other day that looked just like Betty and thought of you.

You guys are awesome. Truly. I hope you are able to enjoy many more family rides together!

We're envious of your bike parking. I showed Chris your prev. post on the bike corrals, and we want them. And the waffles too please. :)

Wow, that scenery is really gorgeous! Hard to imagine seeing all that on a bike ride close to home. I need to get out of the city more often.

Maggie is adorable - you're a great aunt for leading her first bike ride. :)
