Ripples

I've got a ripple. I've got a ripple. I've got a ripple, hey, hey, hey, hey!

Rippling

So it's official, I can crochet now. (Thanks to Ali and Shannon!) And for my first project, I'm doing a ripple blanket, ala these...

I have to thank/blame Karen, who kept pinning these fab blankets on her craft board on Pinterest to the point where resistance was futile.

If you too want to ripple, I used this tutorial.

Love the colors you've picked. I've just started to learn to knit but I kind of want to do crochet now to make that cool blanket!

That is so Awesome, The ripple is what my Aunt taught me to crochet in the beginning, and its a great way to use different color combinations

Too cool! Great job too! That reminds me that I have a granny square blanket in the bottom of my basket that's been there for over a year. :/

It looks terrific. I love crocheting. I find it fast (so I feel productive) and portable! I will keep my eyes open for the finished product!

Ohhh...gorgeous. How did you pick your colors? Is there a formula for that? They are all sooo pretty.

I love ripple blankets! I can only crochet a granny square but a ripple blanket is my next project.

I know nobody likes to hear "I told you so", but I knew you could do it.

Yay! Congratulations on your new craft! I love crochet, it whips up a lot quicker than knitting for me. The blanket looks lovely :)

It looks great so far. Well done! I can't wait to see how it turns out. I've totally given up on crochet for the moment. It looks really fun. All needlecraft is great, but all of my attempts have failed :P
