Nojo

Sorry, guys, I seem to be suffering from a bit of nojo (nojo = no + mojo) at the moment. For some reason, I can't really get excited about my current craft projects. And due to some weird tailbone issue I've been experiencing (and the summer heat), I haven't been as committed to my bike riding. Also, there is a big project at work that has been kinda zapping all my energy.

I know, I am totally a Debbie Downer right now. But I'm going to Southern Utah with my family this weekend. Who knows, it might be the place where Kara gets her groove back.

That happens to me sometimes. Not the tailbone thing, but the knitting. Even now, I've been working on the same thing since April and its all stockinette from here on out and its knitting up at snail speed.

I hope you find your mojo in Southern Utah!

Sometimes we all need a little time off...I say "enjoy it!" I'll be waiting for your crafty awesomeness when you get back!

Didn't you know? Your mojo is already enjoying the time off and waiting for you to join in So. Utah.

Have a great time - I'm sending you some cooler weather from my part of the country...

It happens. I go in fits and starts. Right now, my kitchen table is covered in two projects, one of which needs to be (at least temporarily) scrapped. No worries... your mojo will return!

No sweat, Kara! Summer is busy and it's hard to stay on track with projects. I hope your mojo returns soon, though. I know it can be irritating to lose it. Have fun this weekend!

I have nojo too! Except mine started a lot earlier than yours did. Ugh.

Bummer. Feel better and good crafting wishes to you!

There is a lot of that going around! The other commenters and me too. My sweet kitty died last Monday, so I've got nojo-itis too, along with tendonitis in my ankle from a too-long walk.

I hope that So. Utah revives and inspires you -- a change of scenery usually does wonders!

Hi Kara, I hope you feel better soon. I injured my tailbone 5 years ago, it was absolutely awful, couldn't sit down. It still acts up every now and then. Take care of yourself.

I don't knit much in the summer although I have to say that this summer, I haven't stopped completely! My hobby is running in the summer and I have a knee that hurt so have to cut on it too... But no worries, I love summer so much!!! Hope you get your mojo back soon ;-)

Kara, I hope you're back soon! The Nojo cure I recommend is either making something super super easy (like 1 hour), or buying some new fabric, or browsing Pinterest for a new project. Seems to always work for me. I hope the work thing has left you alone by now. I know how that is!

I think it can happen to just anyone! Enjoy the summer and then your mojo will be all back! The expression "Nojo" made me laugh ;-)
