Swimming in a pool of noodles

Erin is off in a conference so I have the day to myself in the city. It started with a VERY lazy morning and then a noodle lunch at Momofuku (thanks for the recommendation, Trisha!). And I had fabulous company for lunch in the form of the new Mindy Kaling book on my kindle. She is my new pretend BFF.

yay! you went! Hope you liked. And good choice of reading material. I am thinking of getting the Kaling audiobook for my drive home at Thanksgiving -- if I can wait that long to read it.

that looks good! I'm going to NY in April and all of these posts are making me very anxious! You'll have to remember your favorites to recommend.

Have you listened to The Moth story with David of Momofuku? I love noodles and The Moth (not sure which I love more), so it was perfect. Give it a listen if you haven't! http://cdn.themoth.prx.org/the-moth-podcast-194-david-chang.mp3

Looks like your trip was incredible! Next one you should go on...New Orleans!! :)

How's the book so far? I'm going to have to add it to the reading queue. Ooh, those noodles look delicious.

Duuuuuude!

That is exactly what I ate at there and I am still thinking about it (all the time, in great detail) months later. Next time I'm in NYC, I'm making a beeline for Momofuku.
